“One of our blind customers needed to get clothes for a job interview. I offered assistance by taking him to a shopping center, and guiding him through the entire store. If I had not enrolled in LEGACY training, I would not have been able to provide that service. My customer was hired by Wells Fargo as a telephone banker, and is now on his way to achieving his dreams.”

“Legacy enabled us to train a large number of staff from a variety of service providers. One-stop staff from the receptionist to the LWIB director has been made more aware of how to best serve customers with disabilities. The training was not only enlightening but was also entertaining with a good mix of concrete information reinforced with enjoyable activities.”

“By enrolling in LEGACY, I learned how to help people with disabilities the best way possible. I also learned about assistive technologies, how to make our center more accessible, and how the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Employment and Housing Act protect persons with disabilities.”

“LEGACY is an outstanding program! I became very knowledgeable about disability issues, and shared that knowledge with the staff at our WorkSource Center. Now, when persons with disabilities visit our center, our staff feels very comfortable working with them.”

”I would personally like to thank you for providing me the opportunity to participate in this outstanding training. I have enjoyed it from beginning to end. The knowledge and information provided has definitely given me the "Cutting Edge". As an individual who provides employment services to persons with disabilities, I am more aware of various legalities, formalities and etiquette when serving this population. I look forward to continuing in the next phases of levels DSSII & DSSIII. Once again, thank you dearly for this education and experience. It will be forever meaningful.”
