How do I register as a student?
Registration for Legacy Training is very easy. Simply select the link "Register as a Student" from the main menu in the "Legacy Section". As a student you will receive an account that is unique to you. This account will be used to store vital data such as your current course enrollment, courses you have already completed, number of Legacy credits you have earned, and your test scores.
You will be directed to a page that lists three regions of California Northern, Central, and Southern -- and the Local Workforce Investments Areas located within each region.
On this page, select the region in which your agency is located, and you will be taken to the registration page for that region.
NOTE: There are two separate registration forms:
1) Northern California & Central California
2) Southern California
1) Northern & Central California Registration Form
If you selected Northern California or Central California, you will be taken to a registration form. Please complete our registration form to enroll as a student. On the registration form, you will be asked to:
- Enter your full name (this is the way your name will appear on your Certificate of Completion)
- Enter your address (of your agency)
- Select your Local Workforce Investment Area (LWIA) (select your LWIA from the drop-down menu)
- Select the Type of Agency from the drop-down menu:
- One-Stop Center
- Department of Rehabilitation
- EDD
- Other
- Enter your email address (will be used as your Username)
- Select a password
- Select "Click to Register" and a small pop-up window will direct you to login to
Legacy Training.
Important Note! Please retain your account login information, as it is necessary for continued use in our Legacy Training system.
2) Southern California Registration Form:
If you selected Southern California, you will be taken to a registration form. Please complete our registration form to enroll as a student. On the registration form, you will be asked to:
- Enter your full name (this is the way your name will appear on your Certificate of Completion)
- Enter your address (of your agency)
- One-Stop/Agency Location:
a) If located in Los Angeles County Local Workforce Investment Areas (LWIA), select your LWIA from the drop-down menu.
- OR -
b) If located in any other LWIA, select from the second drop-down menu
- Select the Type of Agency (from the drop-down menu:
- One-Stop Center
- Department of Rehabilitation
- EDD
- Other
- Enter your email address (will be used as your Username)
- Select a password
- Select "Click to Register" and a small pop-up window will direct you to login to
Legacy Training.

Login to Legacy
In order to access the vital areas in the Legacy Training system, such as course enrollment, student information, etc., you will need to login to with your student account.
As a newly enrolled student, you should be viewing the Legacy login page. Under "Student Login", enter your email address and password. (Note: The login page can be accessed at any time from the main menu of the Legacy section.)
If your login was successful, you will now be in the Legacy Training area Student Control Panel. From here, you can view/select courses, view completed courses, and edit your personal information.
